365 Days of Happy - Day 159

Today was such a busy day for me! I spent the night at my parent's house in Burlington and went to work at the Pharmacy Station at 7:30 (I actually showed up early! That never happens!). When I got off work at 12:30 I drove to my apartment in Whitewater, changed clothes quickly, and went to work at the Edge of Town Cafe. I'm a waitress there now! I had my second day of work/training today and I made $14! I'm so rich, I know.

So now, instead of putting on my party dress and pregaming like so many other kids my age are probably doing, but of course I don't know that because I never get invited to those shindigs, I put on my comfiest leggings, one of Ryan's sweaters, made myself a cup of tea, and looked at cat gifs on Buzzfeed.

I also decided I should clean up my computer. It says that I've used up 204 GB, and I have 13.9 GB left. I don't know what that means but I don't think it's a good thing, which spawned my decision to delete a whole bunch of programs and pictures and documents I don't need. I have tons and tons of pictures on my Dell, including about 35 folders of photos I took for the Royal Purple Newspaper and thought I would share some of my favorite pictures from various photoshoots before I delete them all.

I took pictures of the Sweet Spot in downtown Whitewater one time in 2011. I don't remember why, though. The Sweet Spot is everyone's favorite place to study or get good coffee and cupcakes. My favorite thing about the Sweet Spot is the unique artwork on their walls.

The Edge of Town Cafe is a lot like Jessica's in downtown Whitewater, which makes sense because Jessica's owners' daughter owns and manages Edge of Town.

I was supposed to take pictures of friends or families sitting together at Jessica's for the article I wrote about Jessica's remodeling, so my friends (who I actually don't talk to anymore...) and I went to eat there and I snapped some photos of them.

I took this picture at the Polar Plunge in 2011. I love everyone's facial expressions in this picture!

I don't remember this professor's name, but he was obviously a music teacher of some sort. I love the colors and his facial expression in this photo. It's so poetic!

There was a protest that I covered a few years ago, when Scott Walker wanted to take over the world.

I had so much fun taking pictures of this guy! James Terkeurst was so goofy, as you can see, he was pretending to yawn. He was a joy to shoot with, for the 8 minutes we spent together outside the UC.

I covered a blood drive one time. I love blood drives, but only if they're by the Red Cross (they're the best, imho). I took this picture of my friend Nelson giving blood. He should be on a poster for the Red Cross. Look how happy he is!
