About Me

Hey there! Thanks for checking out my blog! 

My name is Kelsey Welke and I'm a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I studied International Journalism and Public Relations.

I studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland spring 2012 and it really changed my life. I have traveling in my blood. I get that from my mother. I've been to 26 states and 8 countries, and I'm only 23!

For being such a world traveler, I'm actually quite a hermit, hence why this blog is called the Hermit Diaries. I love nothing more than cozying up in my bed with my kitten, having some candles burning, a cup of chai tea on my nightstand and a movie playing. This blog is a reflection of my hermit lifestyle. If I'm not watching movies, Mad Men, or playing with my kitten, I'm writing blog posts, looking at other peoples blog posts, or on Mashable, Thought Catalog, College Lifestyles or Twitter.

I got the 365 Days of Happy from a project called Project 365, where you take a picture once a day, every day, for a year. But I manipulated that project to fit my needs.

I also manage two other blogs. One is the blog I wrote when I studied abroad, The Book of Kels, and the other is for Panhellenic Council. I was formerly the webmaster for my sorority, Delta Zeta, and formed Epsilon Kappa chapter of Delta Zeta blog.
