The first time I saw Across the Universe, it was right after it came out, and I was watching it in my parent's living room with my sister, Beth. She was a HUGE Beatles fan...she even has a tattoo of them crossing Abbey Road. She saw it once before and wanted to watch it with me, so we watched it together.
This song stuck out in my mind for some reason, and I don't know why. Maybe because the rest of the movie is a psychedelic blur and I felt like I was on drugs when I was watching it, but this part is so pure and simple and I really love it.
